1.1. Tính từ là gì?
Tính từ (adjective, viết tắt là adj) là tất cả vai trò quan trọng trong câu, giúp bổ trợ cho danh từ hoặc đại từ, nó mô tả các đặc tính, tính chất của sự vật, hiện tượng kỳ lạ mà danh từ kia đại diện.
1.2. Vị trí
Vị trí trước danh từ: Tính từ bỏ đứng trước danh trường đoản cú để bổ sung cập nhật nghĩa đến danh từ đó.
Ví dụ: I have taken part in an interesting English course. (Tôi sẽ tham gia một khóa đào tạo và huấn luyện tiếng Anh thú vị)
→ trường đoản cú “interesting” ở đấy là tính từ diễn tả tính hóa học cho khoá học tiếng Anh. Người viết muốn nhấn mạnh để người đọc nắm rõ hơn về sự vật mà người ta nói đến.

1.3. Cấu trúc của tính tự ghép trong giờ đồng hồ Anh
Danh trường đoản cú + Tính trường đoản cú = Tính từ
Ví dụ: Snow + white = snow trắng (trắng bạch như tuyết )
